Model Test Portfolio Packages
Model test shoots are designed to build and enhance your portfolio with compelling images that showcase your range, fill portfolio gaps, and attract the clients you aspire to work with. You’ll receive a link to my model test moodboard to help you plan the looks you want to shoot. Alternatively, you can book an option that includes a wardrobe stylist who will plan and provide clothing for the shoot.
We offer a few different packages tailored to meet your needs. These sessions are strictly for dedicated models who are signed with an agency or aiming to become signed.
We prioritize serious models only—these shoots are not for casual or “just want to shoot” purposes. The images are exclusively for portfolio use and cannot be used for business, commercial purposes, or birthday shoots.

Model Test/Portfolio - 1 Hour Photoshoot
1-hour session with Chad Lawson at his studio

Why Light Edits?
Brands and agencies prefer to see the real you, without overly edited images. Light edits will enhance your photos while maintaining a natural look that appeals to potential clients. Light edits include minor face blemish removal and lighting/color correction. Light edits do NOT include body manipulation of any kind (re-shaping etc).

$350 for 2 looks
$450 for 4 looks
$600 for 8 looks
Essentials will be available, including a white t-shirt, denim jeans, bodysuits, a solid bikini set, blazers, and more—everything needed to create the classic, versatile shots that agencies and brands look for. Models will need to provide their clothing measurements and sizes. You’re also welcome to bring your own clothing items; the stylist may mix and match them with the provided wardrobe to create unique looks. Additionally, you’ll have a call with the wardrobe stylist to confirm which styles they will bring to align with the moodboard.
General Information
All sessions are held at Chad Lawson’s studio; any alternative locations are the model’s responsibility to book and pay for.
Please arrive fully prepared, as there is no time allocated for hair, makeup, or styling services. However, we can recommend trusted hair stylists and makeup artists if needed.
Chad Lawson does not offer “digitals only” sessions. However, he periodically hosts Model Digital Day events on specific days, which will be promoted via social media.
