A Live Editorial Experience
This one is for the creative.
If you've ever had a vision in your head and didn't know how to bring it to life — how to build the concept, communicate it, assemble a team, and actually execute it — this is where that changes.
Chad will be executing a live elevated editorial shoot with model Shay — think full glam, high-concept, no brand brief. Pure creative vision from concept to capture. Every attendee is assigned a real production role — lighting, art department, creative direction assistance — and credited for their contribution to the final project output.
Chad leads the shoot, but this isn't a sit-and-watch situation. Because we're working with continuous lighting, attendees are free to capture throughout the shoot — you just won't have dedicated shooting rounds with the model. You're crew first. But your camera is always welcome.

Event Overview
Chad will demonstrate three unique lighting setups—featuring color gels, strobe lighting, and continuous lighting—while conducting a live editorial photoshoot with model Nev Palmer (@NevPalmer on IG). You'll get a chance to observe the full creative process, from lighting setup to model direction, and participate in a group shooting session during the continuous lighting portion of the workshop (no camera trigger required).
The evening wraps up with an open Q&A session where you can ask Chad, the studio owner, and Nev about photography techniques, business strategies, and industry insights.

6:10 PM – 7:00 PM | Lighting Setup #1: Color Gels & Strobe Techniques

7:00 PM – 7:50 PM | Lighting Setup #2: Editorial Strobe Lighting
Explore advanced strobe lighting techniques used in high-end editorial photography

7:50 PM – 8:40 PM | Lighting Setup #3: Continuous Lighting (Group Shooting Opportunity)
Dive into the world of continuous lighting for cinematic, moody effects
Chad will demonstrate how to set up continuous lighting for soft, natural, and atmospheric images
Attendees will have an extended opportunity to shoot Nev Palmer in a group setting—no camera trigger needed, allowing everyone to practice and experiment with their own style
